Thomas Aiken

In 2001 Thomas Aiken was named South African Amateur of the Year for his 10 wins and 15 top-three finishes. Aiken bid farewell to a glittering amateur career in 2002, taking two years to break into the winners circle on the Sunshine Tour. He did it style, winning three times that season. Although Aiken is still chasing a win in Europe where he has campaigned since 2008, his tally on the Sunshine Tour has grown to seven, including four Vodacom Origins of Golf victories and the 2006 Royal Swazi Sun Open.
